Hello! And welcome to my blog. Myself (Pete) and my sidekick and better half Su are heading away on a year long backpacking adventure, starting December 5th. I hope to keep an account of our journey away as a way for friends and family to keep in touch with what we are at. I will be (hopefully) posting photos of where we go and of people we meet along the way. Over the next month we will be preparing to get our life packed away into a backpack each and off we go! This will involve leaving work (last day tomorrow! Woohoo!), selling our cars, renting out the house, and leaving our 3 month old son (Nigel) off at the orphanarium. Only kidding about that last part - we're leaving him with our neighbours Tracey and Anto. Again, only kidding, Nigel doesn't exist.
